If you're reading this article because you've probably heard about Linux and you're pondering whether or not the right choice for you. So the idea of this paper is just aimed at those users coming from another operating system like Windows and outline the reasons on why switch to Linux may be the best decision.
When I thought about writing this article came to my mind as one hundred ideas of why Linux is a good option for him as the desktop operating system , but for brevity and conciseness could only choose 10 and believe me it was difficult, but there are going to personal opinion which I consider the most weight:
1. Linux is free software and thus no licensing costs
2. Current versions come with a user friendly GUI
3. It is easy to install and upgrade
4. It has very good performance because it makes good use of system resources
5. It is stable , robust , scalable, and sure enough
6. Linux viruses are rare and difficult to filter on a protected system
7. It supports a large number of both open and proprietary applications
8. Several versions of Linux available , many of them specialized
9. It has drivers for a wide range of devices
10. You stand behind and support the free software community
If that is not enough to convince you I suggest you devote to the legal profession
Outside jokes , if words are not enough passes I suggest you to action ... what better way to test it yourself and see how you're doing with Linux?
Surely you're thinking that you're going to have to back up all your data, format your disk, install Linux and then if you do not like to return to Windows , MacOS or any other operating system ... and of course you had before just thinking about you too lazy and also afraid that something would go wrong.
Well no, the test can do together without touching the data on your computer and in about 30-45 minutes ... yes, that easy!
